American Sign Language is my first language, but it isn’t only that, it is truly my first passion. I’ve never wanted to do anything else in my career. Being of service to the Deaf Community—a community that raised me—is something for which I am thankful every day.
Leadership.
As an entrepreneur in the accessibility space, I’ve started two interpreting agencies. The first, CLIP Interpreting, grew to be the overall leader in top-quality American Sign Language interpreting services in the Southern California market. My new start-up, Seven Interpreting, seeks to be a national leader in Video Remote Interpreting and offers technology-forward solutions in the accessibility space.
Accessibility.
Accessibility is the creation of environments, products, or services that people—all people—can enjoy without having to be something they’re not. My belief is in people and that belief informs everything that I do in my business. Diverse, equitable, and inclusive practices benefit all people and are not just boxes to check but are truly human rights.
